The FERD40H100SFP is a single rectifier diode employing STMicroelectronics' proprietary Field Effect Rectifier Diode (FERD) technology. It is designed for through-hole mounting in a compact, fully insulated TO-220 Full Pack package (TO-220FPAB).
Key electrical characteristics include an average rectified forward current (Io) of 40 A and a maximum forward voltage (Vf) of 675 mV at 20 A. The device offers standard recovery speed with reverse recovery time greater than 500 ns at 200 mA. The junction operating temperature range extends up to 175°C.
The through-hole TO-220 Full Pack package provides a fully insulated case, simplifying thermal management and eliminating the need for additional isolation in many designs.
