The FERD30M45CG-TR is a dual common cathode field effect rectifier diode (FERD) array manufactured by STMicroelectronics. Each diode is rated for 15A average forward current with a maximum reverse voltage of 45V. The forward voltage is typically 470 mV at 15A testing condition, enabling low conduction losses. The device uses FERD technology which combines low forward voltage with high surge capability. It can withstand a peak forward surge current of up to 600A at 45V. The diodes are configured as 1 pair common cathode, suitable for center-tap rectifier circuits. The part is housed in a surface-mount TO-263-3 (D2PAK) package with a moisture sensitivity level of MSL 1. It operates over a junction temperature range up to 175°C. Applications include power supply output rectification, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection in low-voltage high-current circuits.
