The FEP6DT-E3/45 is a dual common-cathode ultrafast rectifier diode from Vishay, designed for high-frequency power applications. It features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 200V and an average forward current of 6A. The diode offers a fast reverse recovery time of 35ns, enabling low switching losses and high efficiency in switching mode power supplies.
With a low forward voltage of 975mV at 3A and a peak forward surge current of 75A, this diode is suitable for demanding power switching circuits. The glass passivated chip junction ensures reliability, and the device meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020.
The FEP6DT-E3/45 is available in a TO-220AB through-hole package, with matte tin plated leads. It is compliant with RoHS 2002/95/EC and has a UL 94V-0 flammability rating. Typical applications include high frequency rectifiers in switching mode power supplies, inverters, freewheeling diodes, and DC-to-DC converters.
