The FEP16HT-E3/45 is a dual common cathode ultrafast plastic rectifier from Vishay, part of the FEP16xT series. It features a glass passivated pellet chip junction for high reliability and is designed for high frequency rectification in switching power supplies, inverters, and DC/DC converters.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 500V, average forward current of 16A per device, and forward voltage of 1.5V at 8A. The reverse recovery time is 50ns, enabling low switching losses and high efficiency. The device can operate over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
The component is housed in a TO-220-3 (TO-220AB) through-hole package, allowing for easy mounting on heatsinks. It meets MSL level 1 and is RoHS compliant (E3 suffix).
