The FEP16BT-E3/45 is a dual common cathode ultrafast rectifier diode from Vishay, part of the FEP16xT series. It is designed for high-efficiency power switching applications. The device is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 100V and an average forward rectified current of 16A (2 x 8A per diode).
Key electrical specifications include a maximum forward voltage of 0.95V at 8A per diode, a reverse recovery time of 35ns, and a peak forward surge current capability of 200A. The diode operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and is suitable for high-frequency rectification in switching power supplies, inverters, freewheeling diodes, and DC/DC converters.
The device is housed in a through-hole TO-220-3 package (TO-220AB) with matte tin plated leads. It is RoHS3 compliant (E3 suffix) and meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The part is also available in halogen-free and AEC-Q101 qualified versions (M3 and HM3 suffixes).
