The FDS9412 is a single N-Channel Enhancement Mode Field Effect Transistor manufactured by Fairchild Semiconductor (now onsemi) using advanced PowerTrench technology. It is designed to minimize on-state resistance while maintaining superior switching performance, making it particularly suited for low voltage applications such as notebook computer DC-DC converters where fast switching, low conduction loss, and high efficiency are needed.
Key electrical specifications include a drain-source voltage of 30V, gate-source voltage of ±20V, continuous drain current of 7.9A (ambient temperature 25°C), and pulsed drain current of 24A. The typical drain-source on-resistance is 19mΩ at Vgs=10V and Id=7.9A, with a maximum of 22mΩ.
