The FDS8670 is a 30V N-Channel PowerTrench MOSFET designed for high-efficiency DC-DC converters. It offers a maximum continuous drain current of 21A at 25°C and a pulsed drain current of 105A. The device features ultra-low on-resistance: 3.7mΩ typical at Vgs=10V and 5.0mΩ at Vgs=4.5V, minimizing conduction losses.

 

This MOSFET incorporates advanced trench technology to reduce gate charge and capacitance, enabling fast switching. Typical gate charge total is 82nC at Vgs=10V, and the Miller charge (Qgd) is only 5.5nC. The device is 100% tested for gate resistance and unclamped inductive switching (UIL). It is suitable for notebook Vcore power supplies, telecom brick synchronous rectifiers, and multi-purpose point-of-load converters.
