The FDS3682 is an N-Channel PowerTrench MOSFET designed for high-efficiency power conversion. It features a drain-source breakdown voltage of 100V and a continuous drain current rating of 6A at 25°C (3.7A at 100°C). The maximum on-resistance is 35mOhm at VGS=10V, with a typical value of 30mOhm. Low gate charge (19nC typical) and low Miller charge enable high-frequency switching. The device also offers single-pulse avalanche energy capability of 156mJ.
This MOSFET is suitable for DC/DC converters, off-line UPS, distributed power architectures, VRMs, primary switches for 24V and 48V systems, high-voltage synchronous rectifiers, and automotive applications such as direct injection and electronic valve train systems.
The FDS3682 is housed in an 8-SOIC surface mount package (0.154" width, 3.90mm). It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. Thermal resistance is 50°C/W (junction-to-ambient, 10s) and 25°C/W (junction-to-case). Standard packaging is 2500 units per reel on 12mm tape.
