This DrMOS module integrates a driver IC, two power MOSFETs, and a bootstrap Schottky diode into a thermally enhanced 6x6 mm PQFN package. It features a 3-state 3.3V PWM input, Skip Mode for light-load efficiency, and a thermal warning flag. ON Semiconductor's PowerTrench MOSFET technology minimizes switch ringing, often eliminating the need for snubber circuits. The SyncFET technology in the low-side MOSFET includes an integrated Schottky diode.

 

The FDMF6821C is optimized for switching frequencies up to 1 MHz and includes features like adaptive gate drive timing for shoot-through protection and under-voltage lockout (UVLO). Its compact size and high performance make it suitable for demanding applications such as high-performance gaming motherboards, compact blade servers, and microprocessor voltage regulators.

 

Mounting is via surface mount technology. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 150°C (TJ).
