The FDMC8327L is an N-Channel MOSFET from On Semiconductor, manufactured using the advanced POWERTRENCH process. It features a drain-source voltage rating of 40V and continuous drain current of 14A (package limited) at case temperature 25°C. The device offers low on-resistance of 9.7mΩ maximum at Vgs=10V and Id=12A, and 12.5mΩ at Vgs=4.5V and Id=10A. It is designed for DC-DC conversion applications. The MOSFET is housed in a compact 8-PowerWDFN surface mount package (case 511DR) with dimensions 3.3x3.3mm. It supports a gate-source voltage up to ±20V and has a gate threshold voltage of 3V maximum at Id=250µA. The device is RoHS compliant, Pb-Free, and Halide Free. Operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. Maximum power dissipation is 30W at case temperature 25°C and 2.3W at ambient temperature 25°C. The MOSFET is 100% UIL tested and has a single pulse avalanche energy rating of 25mJ.
