The FDMC8321L is an N-Channel PowerTrench MOSFET manufactured by onsemi. It is rated for a drain-to-source voltage of 40 V and a maximum continuous drain current of 49 A at TC=25°C (22 A at TA=25°C). The FDMC8321L is optimized for DC-DC converters using synchronous or conventional PWM controllers. Its low gate charge (61 nC at VGS=10 V) and low input capacitance (3900 pF at VDS=20 V) help minimize switching losses and ringing. The next-generation enhanced body diode provides soft reverse recovery, and the 100% UIL tested design guarantees avalanche ruggedness with a single pulse avalanche energy of 86 mJ.
