FDC5612 Description

This N-Channel MOSFET has been designed specifically to improve the overall efficiency of DC/DC converters using either synchronous or conventional switching PWM controllers. These MOSFETs feature faster switching and lower gate charge than other MOSFETs with comparable RDS(ON) specifications. The result is a MOSFET that is easy and safer to drive even at very high frequencies, and DC/DC power supply designs with higher overall efficiency.

 

Key specifications include a drain-source voltage rating of 60V, continuous drain current of 4.3A at 25°C, and pulsed drain current of 20A. The on-resistance is a maximum of 55mOhm at Vgs=10V, Id=4.3A, and 64mOhm at Vgs=6V, Id=4.3A. Gate charge is 12.5nC typical (18nC maximum) at Vgs=10V. Input capacitance is 650pF at Vds=25V.

 

The device is offered in a surface mount SuperSOT-6 package (TSOT-23-6 thin) with a low profile of 1mm thickness. It is Pb-Free and Halide Free. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. Thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is 78°C/W (Note 1a) and 30°C/W junction-to-case.
