The FD5000037 is a crystal clock oscillator (XO) from the FD Series by Diodes Incorporated. It provides a 50MHz CMOS output with a supply voltage of 1.8V DC. The device features a typical supply current of 35mA maximum and offers a frequency stability of ±50ppm over the operating temperature range of -20°C to 70°C.
This oscillator uses a crystal base resonator and non-PLL design to achieve low jitter of less than 1ps RMS. It includes an enable/disable function with a high input voltage of ≥0.7V (or open) for enable and low input voltage ≤0.3V for disable. The output is CMOS, with a duty cycle of 45% to 55% measured at 50% VDD.
The FD5000037 is packaged in a 5.0 x 3.2mm surface-mount ceramic package with 4-SMD no lead termination. It is designed for tape and reel packaging and is suitable for automated assembly. The device is RoHS compliant and lead-free.
Applications include Ethernet, Fibre Channel, SAS, server and storage platforms, SONET/SDH linecards, T1/E1/T3/E3 linecards, DSLAM, and 802.11a/b/g WiFi.
