The XP Power FCB100US15 is an AC-DC converter from the FCB100 series, delivering a regulated 15V DC output at 80W continuous power. It accepts a universal input voltage range of 80-264VAC (47-63Hz) and achieves a typical efficiency of 87%.
Designed for medical applications, the converter provides 4000VAC reinforced isolation between input and output (2 MOPP), along with 1500VAC isolation from input to ground and output to ground. The patient leakage current is limited to 95μA, and the device includes comprehensive protection features: overvoltage protection (110-150% Vnom), overload protection (110-175%), short circuit protection (hiccup mode), and overtemperature protection (self-resetting after input recycle).
Electrical performance includes line regulation of ±0.5%, load regulation of ±1%, ripple and noise of 1%, and transient response recovery to within 1% in less than 500μs for a 25% load change. The converter has a no-load input power consumption of less than 0.3W and a hold-up time of 8-14ms at full load. An internal T3.15A/300VAC fuse is fitted in line and neutral for input protection.
The output voltage is 15V DC.
The input voltage range is 80-264VAC, with derating at low voltages.
Isolation: input to output 4000VAC (2 MOPP), input to ground 1500VAC (1 MOPP), output to ground 1500VAC (1 MO).
The typical patient leakage current is 95μA.
Overvoltage protection (110-150% Vnom), overload protection (110-175%), short circuit protection (hiccup mode), and overtemperature protection (self-resetting after input recycle).
No minimum load is required.
The typical efficiency is 87% (model dependent).
