The FAN7040 is a mono Bridge-Tied Load (BTL) output amplifier with DC volume control, designed by Fairchild Semiconductor. It is suitable for applications such as TVs, monitors, portable computers, desktop computers, and low voltage audio systems. The device features a wide DC volume control range from +37dB to -52dB, mute mode, thermal protection, and short-circuit proofing.
This amplifier is designed for ease of use with few external components required.
