This device features independent control loops for each LED, ensuring precise current matching even with variations in LED forward voltage, eliminating the need for pre-selection.

 

The FAN5610MPX incorporates a built-in two-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for digital and Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) brightness control, allowing for current settings of 0mA, 7mA, 14mA, and 21mA, or customized settings. It boasts a low voltage drop of less than 350mV, making it ideal for direct Li-ion battery applications. The device also offers high efficiency up to 91% and a very low shutdown current of less than 1µA.

 

Designed for minimal EMI and switching noise, this LED driver is available in a compact 3mm x 3mm MLP-8 (8-WDFN Exposed Pad) package, suitable for surface mounting. Its applications include cell phones, handheld computers, PDA, DSC, MP3 players, LCD display modules, keyboard backlights, and general LED displays.
