FAN5333ASX

The FAN5333ASX is a high-efficiency, high-current serial LED driver designed by On Semiconductor. It operates in a fixed frequency mode and includes an integrated FET switch, making it suitable for driving flash LEDs in serial connections. This device is engineered for high switching frequencies to minimize noise at the battery terminal of handheld communication equipment.

Key electrical specifications include a switching frequency of 1.5 MHz and a peak switch current capability of up to 1.5 A. The device offers an output power capability of 1.5 W. It features adjustable output voltage and low feedback voltage options (110 mV for FAN5333A, 315 mV for FAN5333B). The quiescent current in both normal and shutdown modes is minimal to extend battery life, with shutdown current less than 1 nA.

The FAN5333ASX is available in a compact 5-lead SOT-23 package, suitable for surface mount applications.
