The FAN4146SX from On Semiconductor is a specialized power management IC designed as a low-power controller for AC outlet Appliance Leakage Circuit Interrupters (ALCI) and two-wire Residual Current Devices (RCD). This device is engineered to detect hazardous grounding conditions and open the line before a harmful shock occurs, providing essential safety features.
