Operating at a fixed frequency of 1.3 MHz, this converter utilizes current mode PWM control for excellent line and load regulation. It achieves high efficiency, up to 96%, and features a Power Save mode to reduce quiescent current to 25 µA for extended battery life. The device also includes features like soft start, output over-voltage protection, dynamic output voltage positioning, thermal shutdown, and short circuit protection.

 

The FAN2002MPX is available in a compact 3x3 mm 6-lead MLP (WDFN Exposed Pad) package, suitable for surface mounting. Its design is optimized for applications requiring efficient power conversion in a small form factor, such as portable devices, digital cameras, and point-of-load power supplies.

 

This converter supports 100% duty cycle low dropout operation and is Pb-Free and Halide Free.
