The FAN1655MPX is a low-cost, bi-directional LDO specifically designed for terminating DDR memory buses. It can sink and source up to 2.1A continuous current and 3A peak, meeting the demands of most DDR applications. Load regulation meets JEDEC specifications, with VTT = VREFOUT ± 40mV.
This regulator includes a buffered reference voltage output capable of supplying up to 5mA. On-chip thermal limiting provides protection against excessive junction temperatures due to power overload and ambient temperature. A low-current shutdown mode is also available.
The FAN1655MPX is available in an 8-lead 5x6mm MLP package, suitable for surface mount applications. Its operating temperature range is from 0°C to 125°C, making it suitable for various environmental conditions.
