The Deltrol Controls EV25A2 is an in-line quick exhaust valve designed to provide fast dumping of exhaust air directly at the cylinder. This functionality eliminates the need for larger selector valves, leading to substantial front-end savings and improved operating efficiency through the use of smaller air system components. The valve's design incorporates smooth, oversized internal passages to ensure unrestricted flow and prevent clogging from contaminated air lines.
Key specifications include an operating pressure range of 20 to 125 psi (1.4 to 8.6 bar). The operating temperature range varies by seal material: 0° to +250°F (-18° to +120°C) for Buna N and 0° to +400°F (-18° to +204°C) for Viton. The inlet port size is 3/8" NPTF with an inlet flow coefficient (Cv factor) of 2.50, and the exhaust port is also 3/8" NPTF with an exhaust flow coefficient (Cv factor) of 1.0 to 7.84. The body and bonnet are constructed from die-cast aluminum, with Buna-N or Viton for O-rings and diaphragms. Screws are made of zinc-plated steel.
By enabling instantaneous dumping of air, the EV25A2 increases system efficiency and speed, allowing for smoother, faster cylinder operation and wider application of air-powered motions. Its cost-effective design makes it a valuable component for various pneumatic systems.
