This is a 10-position elevated socket connector from Samtec's ESW series. It features a forked contact design with gold plating on the contact area and matte tin on the tail. The insulator is black glass filled polyester with UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 5.2A per contact (with 2 pins powered) and a voltage rating of 515 VAC when mated with TSW or ESQ connectors. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C with gold plating.
The connector has a through hole mounting style with solder termination. Pitch is 2.54mm (0.100") and row spacing is also 2.54mm. Insulation height is 18.67mm and contact length is 4.57mm. It supports up to 100 mating cycles with 10µ" gold.
This elevated socket is suitable for board-to-board applications. It mates with Samtec TSW, MTSW, EW, and other series. The part is not lead-free solderable; only lead wave soldering is recommended.
