The Samtec ESW-105-12-L-D is a 10-position elevated socket connector from the ESW series, featuring a dual-row configuration with 2.54mm pitch. The connector uses phosphor bronze contacts with 10 µ" gold plating on the mating area and matte tin on the tail, over a 50 µ" nickel underlayer. The housing is molded from black glass filled polyester with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
Electrical ratings include 5.2A per contact (with 2 pins powered) and a voltage rating of 515 VAC. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C with gold plating, and -55°C to +105°C with tin plating. The connector supports an insertion depth of 3.68 mm to 6.35 mm and is rated for up to 100 mating cycles with gold plating.
The ESW-105-12-L-D is designed for through hole solder termination and is compatible with a wide range of mating headers including TSW, MTSW, EW, MTLW, and others. It is suitable for elevated board-to-board stacking applications and is used in PC/104 stackthrough configurations. Note: this connector is not lead-free solderable and is intended for lead wave soldering only.
