The E-T-A ESS31-TC-001-DC24V-10A is a compact electronic circuit breaker, measuring only 12.5mm wide, designed to selectively protect DC 24V load circuits. It enhances system uptime through active electronic current limitation during short circuits and overload disconnection at approximately 1.2 times the rated current.
This circuit breaker features a single trip curve suitable for all loads and can easily handle capacitive loads up to 40,000 µF. It is designed for fast and flexible installation on a DIN rail, facilitating groups of devices with multiple circuits. The integral fail-safe element is synchronized with the circuit breaker's rated current and cable cross-section for simplified planning.
Approved according to UL1077 and UL60947-4-1, it is suitable for use in switchgear according to UL508A. The terminals support field wiring, and the integral physical isolation provides additional safety by ensuring the circuit breaker is truly switched off when in the OFF condition. It offers active linear current limitation and physical isolation in case of failure.
