The ESS020W-0500-34 is a 17W constant current LED driver from ERP Power, part of the ESS series. It accepts a wide input voltage range of 120 to 277VAC and delivers a constant 500mA output current with an output voltage range of 6 to 56Vdc. The driver achieves up to 87% typical efficiency and supports Tri-Mode Dimming™, including TRIAC (forward-phase), ELV (reverse-phase), and 0-10V analog dimming, with a dimming range of 1 to 100% of output current. Protection features include output open load, over-current, short-circuit (hiccup), and over-temperature with auto recovery. The driver is housed in a plastic IP64-rated case measuring 83.8mm x 39.9mm x 25.1mm (3.30" x 1.57" x 0.99") with wire leads termination. It is designed for use in LED lighting fixtures requiring constant current regulation and flexible dimming control. The operating temperature range is -30°C to 70°C, with a maximum case temperature of 90°C. The driver has a typical lifetime of 50,000 hours at 70°C case hot spot. The driver is compliant with FCC Part 15 Class B (120Vac) and Class A (277Vac), EN55015, and meets ENERGY STAR, DLC, and CA Title 24 requirements. Approvals include CE and cURus.
