The ESQ-120-49-G-D is an elevated socket strip from Samtec's ESQ series, designed for board-to-board stacking applications requiring a higher profile. It features 40 positions arranged in a double row with a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and row spacing. The connector uses a through hole mounting style with solder termination, making it suitable for robust PCB attachment.
The insulator is made of black glass filled polyester with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the contacts are phosphor bronze with a 20µ" (0.51µm) gold finish. Electrical ratings include 5.7A per contact (with 2 pins powered) and 550VAC voltage rating. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C, and the connector is rated for 100 mating cycles with 10µ" gold.
This socket strip is commonly used in PC/104 and other embedded systems requiring reliable, high-density interconnections. The push-pull fastening type ensures easy mating and unmating. Packaging is in tubes of 11 pieces.
