The Samtec ESQ-102-44-G-S is an elevated socket connector from the ESQ series, designed for board-to-board applications. It features 2 positions in a single row with a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch, making it suitable for compact PCB layouts. The connector uses forked phosphor bronze contacts with a gold finish (20µ" over 50µ" nickel) for reliable electrical performance and corrosion resistance.
Electrical ratings include 5.7A per contact (with 2 pins powered) and a voltage rating of 550VAC. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C with gold plating. The insulator is black glass filled polyester with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The through hole termination with solder tails ensures secure mechanical attachment.
This connector mates with Samtec TSW, MTSW, EW, and other compatible series. Insertion depth ranges from 3.68mm to 6.35mm, and the connector is rated for 100 mating cycles with 10µ" gold. Note that this part is not lead-free solderable; it requires lead wave soldering only.
