The ESDR0544MDMR4G is a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from On Semiconductor designed to protect high-speed data lines from electrostatic discharge (ESD). It offers ultra-low capacitance of 0.9 pF maximum between I/O lines and ground, making it suitable for high-speed interfaces such as HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, and eSATA.
Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 5V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 6.0V at 1 mA, and a maximum reverse leakage current of 1.0 µA at 5V. The device is rated for ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 with 8 kV contact discharge, and it meets Human Body Model class 3B (>8 kV) and Machine Model class C (>400 V).
The ESDR0544MDMR4G is housed in a 10-lead Micro-10 package (10-TFSOP/MSOP) and is surface mountable. It features a flow-through style package for easy PCB layout and matched trace lengths, maintaining consistent impedance on high-speed differential lines.
