ESDR0502NMUTAG is a 3-channel unidirectional ESD protection diode array from onsemi, designed to protect high-speed data lines from electrostatic discharge. It uses a steering (rail-to-rail) topology and provides power line protection with a maximum reverse working voltage of 5.5V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 6.0V at 1mA.
The device features ultra-low capacitance of 0.3pF typical (0.6pF maximum) between I/O pins and ground, which minimizes signal degradation on high-speed interfaces. It delivers 100W peak pulse power and 3.0A peak pulse current under an 8x20µs waveform, and offers 8kV IEC 61000-4-2 contact ESD protection (Level 4). Reverse leakage current is limited to 1.0µA at the working voltage.
Typical applications include USB 2.0 data and power line protection, Gigabit Ethernet, high-speed communication line protection, monitors, flat panel displays, and MP3 players. The array is housed in a Pb-free 6-UFDFN (6-UDFN 1.2x1) surface mount package, rated for operation over a junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
