The ESDM3551N2T5G is a bidirectional zener TVS diode designed for ESD and transient voltage protection in space-constrained applications. It has a working peak reverse voltage of 5.5V and a maximum clamping voltage of 8.2V at 8A peak pulse current. The diode offers extremely low capacitance of 21 pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data line protection.
ESD protection exceeds IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 with ±30kV contact and air discharge ratings. The device is housed in a compact 2-X2DFN (1x0.6mm) surface mount package with a low profile of 0.3mm. It supports a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and has a total power dissipation of 250mW on FR-5 board.
