The ESDM3051MXT5G is a bidirectional ESD protection diode designed to protect voltage sensitive components from electrostatic discharge and transient voltage events. It features a reverse stand-off voltage of 5V and a breakdown voltage range of 5.1V to 7.0V at 1 mA. The clamping voltage is 6V at 1A and 8.2V at 8A (8/20 µs pulse), with a typical TLP clamping of 7.5V at 16A. The device provides ±30kV ESD protection for both contact and air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4.
With a maximum capacitance of 21pF at 0V and 1MHz, this diode is suitable for high-speed data lines such as USB, SD card, and audio interfaces. It has a peak pulse current rating of 9.9A (8/20 µs) and a power dissipation of 250mW on FR-5 board. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +150°C.
