The ESDBV5V0D5-TP from Micro Commercial Components is a bi-directional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 5V, a breakdown voltage range of 5.6V to 8V, and a clamping voltage of 13V at 4A peak pulse current (8/20μs waveform). The device offers IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection at ±15kV (air and contact) and meets JESD22-A114 human body model at ±16kV. Packaged in a compact SOD-523 surface-mount package, it is suitable for space-constrained applications. The component is RoHS compliant and halogen-free.
