ESDA8P30-1T2

The ESDA8P30-1T2 is a unidirectional TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) diode designed by STMicroelectronics. It is engineered to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other surge events. The device features a reverse standoff voltage of 6.3V and a maximum clamping voltage of 12V, ensuring that downstream components are protected from overvoltage conditions.

With a peak pulse current rating of 30A (8/20µs pulse) and a peak pulse power rating of 300W, this TVS diode provides robust transient energy absorption. It is not intended for power line protection, making it suitable for signal line and data line protection in general-purpose applications.

The device is housed in a SOD-882 surface mount package, specifically the SOD-882T variant, which offers a compact footprint for space-constrained designs. It supports surface mount mounting and operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 150°C (junction temperature). The device is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected, with an MSL level of 1 for unlimited floor life.
