The ESDA18-1K is a unidirectional TVS diode from STMicroelectronics designed for general purpose circuit protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 15V and a maximum clamping voltage of 34V at a peak pulse current of 12A (8/20µs waveform). The device is rated for 400W peak pulse power, making it suitable for transient voltage suppression in a variety of applications.
With a typical capacitance of 105pF at 1MHz, this TVS diode is suitable for protecting high-speed data lines from electrostatic discharge and other voltage transients. It is packaged in a compact SOD-523 (SC-79) surface mount package, ideal for space-constrained designs. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 150°C.
