The ESDA14V2-4BF2 is a quad bidirectional Transil array from STMicroelectronics designed for ESD protection in sensitive electronic equipment. This monolithic array integrates four bidirectional Transil functions to protect up to four lines from electrostatic discharges.
Key electrical specifications include a standoff voltage of 12V, a breakdown voltage range of 14.2V to 18V, and a low leakage current of less than 1µA at 12V. The device can handle 50W peak pulse power (8/20µs) and provides ESD protection up to ±15kV air discharge and ±8kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, as well as ±25kV per MIL STD 883F.
The device is housed in a 5-WFBGA (FlipChip) package with a supplier package of 5-FlipChip (1.12x1.12mm). It is surface mountable and operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The typical capacitance of 12pF and dynamic resistance of 3.2Ω make it suitable for high-speed data lines.
Typical applications include computers, printers, communication systems, cellular phones, and video equipment where transient overvoltage protection is required.
The standoff voltage is 12V.
The breakdown voltage range is 14.2V to 18V at 1mA.
It is available in a 5-WFBGA (FlipChip) package with supplier package 5-FlipChip (1.12x1.12mm).
The leakage current is less than 1µA at 12V.
The typical capacitance is 12pF at 0V bias and 1MHz.
It provides ±15kV air discharge and ±8kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, and ±25kV per MIL STD 883F.
It protects up to 4 bidirectional lines.
