The ESD9X7.0ST5G is a unidirectional TVS diode from ON Semiconductor designed for ESD protection. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 7V and a clamping voltage of 25V at 4A peak pulse current (8/20 µs). The device offers excellent ESD protection with ratings of ≥30 kV contact and air per IEC 61000-4-2, and ≥16 kV per Human Body Model. Response time is typically less than 1 ns.
With a typical capacitance of 65 pF at 1 MHz, this diode is suitable for protecting high-speed data lines. It is housed in a compact SOD-923 surface mount package with body dimensions of 1.0 mm x 0.60 mm and a maximum height of 0.43 mm. The device is Pb-Free and meets MSL 1 requirements.
This TVS diode is ideal for general purpose ESD protection in portable electronics such as cellular phones, MP3 players, and digital cameras where board space is limited. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 8000 pieces.
