The ESD9X12ST5G is a unidirectional TVS diode from On Semiconductor's ESD9X Series, designed to protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other voltage transients. It features a stand-off voltage of 12V and a maximum clamping voltage of 23.7V at a peak pulse current of 5.9A (8/20µs). The device can dissipate up to 140W of peak power, ensuring robust protection in compact designs.
This diode offers excellent ESD protection with a rating of ±30kV contact and air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, and a typical response time of less than 1 ns.
