The ESD9L3.3ST5G is a unidirectional ESD protection diode from onsemi's ESD9L series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and transient voltage events. Key specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 3.3V, a maximum clamping voltage of 9V at 1A (8/20µs pulse), and an ultra-low typical capacitance of 0.5pF at 1MHz.
The device offers IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection up to ±10kV contact and ±15kV air discharge. It features a fast response time of less than 1.0 ns and a maximum power dissipation of 150 mW on FR-5 board. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
The ESD9L3.3ST5G is housed in a small SOD-923 surface-mount package with dimensions of 1.00mm x 0.60mm and a low body height of 0.4mm. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 8000 pieces. The device is Pb-free and RoHS compliant, and meets MSL 1 requirements.
