The ESD8708MUTAG is an 8-channel TVS diode array from ON Semiconductor, designed to protect four high-speed differential pairs. It features an ultra-low capacitance of 0.34 pF typical at 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data lines such as Gigabit Ethernet, V-by-One HS, LVDS, and DisplayPort.
This device provides ESD protection up to ±30 kV (contact and air) per IEC 61000-4-2, and lightning protection up to 6.5 A per IEC 61000-4-5 (8/20 µs). The flow-through style package (14-UDFN, 5.5x1.5 mm) eases PCB layout and maintains consistent impedance.
The ESD8708MUTAG is Pb-free, halogen-free/BFR-free, and RoHS compliant. It is rated for operating junction temperatures from -55°C to +125°C. Packaged in tape and reel with 3000 units per reel, it supports surface mount assembly.
