The ESD8024MNTAG from On Semiconductor is a transient voltage suppressor designed specifically for protecting Low Voltage Differential Signals (LVDS) in LCD panel applications. It integrates 24 lines of ESD protection in a single surface-mount QFN package.
This device features an ultra-low capacitance of 4pF maximum, making it suitable for high-speed data lines where signal integrity is critical. The ESD8024MNTAG provides robust protection against IEC 61000-4-2 ESD events with a rating of ±30kV for both contact and air discharge. It also offers a peak pulse current capability of 20A (8/20µs waveform) and a low typical clamping voltage of 8V.
The TVS diode is housed in a 24-VFQFN exposed pad package (24-QFN 4x4mm) and is surface mount compatible. It supports a wide operating temperature range from -55°C to 125°C and is available in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 4000 units. The device is lead-free and compliant with RoHS standards.
