The ESD8018MUTAG is a low capacitance ESD protection diode array from On Semiconductor, specifically designed to protect four high speed data lines from ESD and surge events. It offers ultra-low capacitance of 0.32 pF maximum (I/O to GND), making it ideal for voltage-sensitive high speed interfaces such as V-by-One HS, LVDS, USB 3.1 Type C, and 10 GbE.
The device provides IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection at ±17 kV contact and air, and IEC 61000-4-5 lightning surge protection up to 5 A (8/20 µs). The flow-through package design (UDFN10) simplifies PCB layout and maintains consistent impedance for differential pairs. The ESD8018MUTAG is RoHS3 compliant, Pb-Free, and Halogen Free/BFR Free. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 3000 units per reel. Operating junction temperature range is -55 to 125 °C, with storage temperature range of -55 to 150 °C.
