The ESD7504MUTAG is a low capacitance ESD protection diode designed by On Semiconductor to protect high-speed data lines from electrostatic discharge (ESD). It features an ultra-low capacitance of 0.55 pF max between I/O and ground, making it suitable for preserving signal integrity in high-frequency applications.
This device offers robust ESD protection compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4, with a contact and air discharge rating of ±15 kV. The reverse working voltage is 3.3 V, and the breakdown voltage is between 4.0 V and 5.0 V at 1 mA. The reverse leakage current is limited to 1.0 µA at the working voltage.
The ESD7504MUTAG is packaged in a compact 10-UDFN (10-UDFN 2.5x1) surface-mount package, ideal for space-constrained designs. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 3000 pieces. The device is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and lead-free.
Typical applications include USB 3.0, eSATA, HDMI, and DisplayPort interfaces, where low capacitance and matched trace lengths are critical for maintaining consistent impedance.
