The ESD7361HT1G is a low capacitance ESD protection diode from On Semiconductor, designed to protect high speed data lines from electrostatic discharge (ESD). It provides protection for IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD events up to ±15kV contact and air discharge, and meets IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) and IEC 61000-4-5 (lightning) requirements. With an ultra-low capacitance of 0.55 pF maximum (I/O to GND), this device is ideal for voltage sensitive high speed data lines without compromising signal integrity. The diode features a 5V reverse standoff voltage (VRWM), typical breakdown voltage of 16.5V at 1 mA, and clamping voltage of 31V typical at 8A peak pulse current. Dynamic resistance is 0.735Ω typical, and insertion loss is 0.01 dB at 1 MHz and 2 dB at 5 GHz. The ESD7361HT1G is a unidirectional device with Zener technology, available in a surface mount SOD-323 package (SC-76). It is RoHS3 compliant, Pb-Free, and Halogen Free/BFR Free. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. Typical applications include wireless chargers and near field communication (NFC) circuits, as well as general purpose ESD protection for high speed data lines.
The maximum reverse standoff voltage is 5 V.
The typical breakdown voltage is 16.5 V at 1 mA.
The typical clamping voltage is 31 V at 8 A and 34 V at 16 A.
The nominal peak pulse current is 16 A for a 100 ns pulse.
The device is available in a surface mount SOD-323 (SC-76) package.
The maximum junction capacitance is 0.55 pF at 0 V and 1 MHz.
The device provides ±15 kV contact and air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4.
