The ESD7124MUTBG is a 4-channel low capacitance ESD protection array designed for high-speed data lines. It integrates three low-voltage (LV) ESD protection channels and one high-voltage (HV) channel for supply rail protection, all in a compact 6-UDFN surface mount package.
The LV channels feature a reverse standoff voltage of 3.3 V and a typical breakdown voltage of 6.5 V. The HV channel has a 12 V standoff and 14 V typical breakdown. It provides ESD protection up to ±25 kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, and surge protection up to 100 A (8/20 µs) on the HV channel. Typical clamping voltages are 9.5 V (LV at 1 A) and 15 V (HV at 1 A). Maximum clamping at 100 A on HV is 27 V. Low channel input capacitance (0.35 pF typ) ensures signal integrity for high-speed interfaces.
This device is suitable for protecting high-speed data lines such as USB, HDMI, and Ethernet, as well as general purpose I/O requiring low capacitance. The dual-voltage architecture allows simultaneous protection of logic-level and supply rails. The package is lead-free and RoHS compliant.
The ESD7124MUTBG is supplied in a 6-UFDFN exposed pad package (6-UDFN 1.8x2 mm) and is available in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 3000 units per reel.
For LV channels, maximum reverse standoff voltage is 3.3 V. For the HV channel, it is 12 V.
LV channels: minimum 5.5 V, typical 6.5 V at 1 mA. HV channel: minimum 13.3 V, typical 14 V at 1 mA.
LV channels: typical 9.5 V at 1 A (8/20 µs). HV channel: typical 15 V at 1 A, typical 16 V at 16 A, maximum 27 V at 100 A (8/20 µs).
The HV channel can handle a maximum peak pulse current of 100 A (8/20 µs).
It is available in a 6-UFDFN exposed pad package (6-UDFN 1.8x2 mm).
Typical capacitance is 0.35 pF, maximum 0.5 pF at 0 V, 1 MHz.
It provides ±25 kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2 level 4.
