The ESD6100 is a 2-channel very low capacitance ESD protection device from On Semiconductor, designed for protecting high-speed data lines from electrostatic discharge (ESD). It features a steering (rail-to-rail) topology with two unidirectional channels. Key electrical characteristics include a typical capacitance of 1.5 pF per channel, ensuring minimal signal degradation. The device provides ESD protection up to ±8 kV contact and ±15 kV air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2. Clamp voltage is 9.8 V typical at 1 A peak pulse current (8/20 µs waveform). Breakdown voltage is 6 V minimum at 1 mA. Leakage current is typically 1 nA at 3 V. The operating supply voltage range is 3.0 V to 5.5 V.
