The WILLSEMI ESD5311N-2/TR is an ultra-low capacitance Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode engineered to safeguard high-speed data interfaces. It is specifically designed to protect sensitive electronic components connected to data and transmission lines from electrostatic discharge (ESD) over-stress.
This device incorporates one pair of ultra-low capacitance steering diodes along with a TVS diode. It provides ESD protection up to ±20kV contact discharge according to IEC61000-4-2 and can withstand peak pulse currents of up to 4A (8/20μs) per IEC61000-4-5. Key electrical characteristics include a 5V maximum stand-off voltage, typical clamping voltage of 21V at 16A (TLP), and ultra-low junction capacitance of 0.25pF.
