The ESD5004MXTBG is an ESD protection diode manufactured by On Semiconductor. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from electrostatic discharge (ESD) events. The device integrates four separate bidirectional configurations in a single package, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.
The diode has a reverse working voltage of 3.3 V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 3.9 V at 1 mA. It offers a low clamping voltage of 9.1 V at 1 A (8/20 µs) and a typical clamping voltage of 10 V under TLP conditions at 16 A. The junction capacitance is typically 3.5 pF and maximum 5.0 pF between I/O pins and ground. It provides ESD protection of ±12 kV contact and ±15 kV air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2.
The device is suitable for general purpose applications including smartphones, portable electronics, notebooks, desktops, servers, and microprocessor-based equipment.
