The ESD4238MTTAG is a steering (rail-to-rail) TVS diode array designed for ESD protection on high-speed differential signal lines. It features 8 unidirectional channels with a clamping voltage of 10V and a peak pulse current rating of 1A under the 8/20 µs waveform. The device meets IEC61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection, with 20 kV contact discharge and 25 kV air discharge ratings.
This device is optimized for systems requiring low capacitive loading and tightly controlled signal skews. It offers 100 Ω matched differential impedance for each paired channel, making it suitable for DVI, HDMI, and other high-speed data interfaces. The pass-through impedance matched clamp architecture and flow-through routing enhance signal integrity.
The ESD4238MTTAG is housed in a 16-WFDFN exposed pad package (16-WDFN 4x1.6 mm) and is surface mountable. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device is RoHS compliant, halogen free, and designed for general purpose high-speed data line ESD protection.
