The ESD3V3D9-TP is a unidirectional TVS diode designed for ESD protection of sensitive electronics. It features a peak reverse working voltage of 3.3V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 5V at 1mA test current. Maximum clamping voltage is 5.8V when subjected to a 1A peak pulse current (8/20µs waveform) and 8.8V at 5A peak pulse current. The device can handle 100W of peak pulse power (8/20µs) and a peak pulse current of 5A.
This device offers low reverse leakage — typically 0.005µA and maximum 1µA at 3.3V reverse voltage. Junction capacitance is typically 35pF at 0V bias and 20pF at 2.5V bias (measured at 1MHz), making it suitable for high-speed signal lines. Forward voltage is typically 0.8V at 10mA forward current. Response time is less than 1ns.
ESD capabilities include ±15kV air discharge and ±8kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, as well as 16kV Human Body Model per JESD22-A114-B. The device is housed in a compact SOD-923 surface mount package, with dimensions of approximately 0.95mm x 0.75mm x 0.36mm. Tape and reel packaging provides 8,000 pieces per reel.
The part is halogen free, lead free and RoHS compliant. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating and the moisture sensitivity level is 1 (unlimited floor life).
