The ESD051-1F4 is a unidirectional TVS diode designed for general purpose ESD protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 5.5V and a typical clamping voltage of 9V. The device can handle peak pulse currents up to 11A (8/20µs) with a peak pulse power rating of 110W.
This diode is housed in a compact 0201 (0603 metric) surface mount package with supplier device package ST0201. It operates over a wide temperature range from -55°C to 150°C. The capacitance is 110pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal line protection.
Designed for general purpose applications, the ESD051-1F4 is not intended for power line protection. Its small footprint and low capacitance make it ideal for portable electronics and high-density PCB designs where space is at a premium.
